Live Another Life provides an alternative means to start the game for those who do not wish to go through the lengthy intro sequence at Helgen. The previous character playthrough I did, it was with Alternate Start and I too chose the Whiterun beginning and owning Breezehome. I felt it fit in with my character who was going to dominate the land with his accomplishments and he was a typical Nord, so I felt Whiterun was the most appropriate.
